Welcome to the NES Art Program!
My name is Ms. Kristen Bryce and I have proudly been teaching art within the Narragansett School System since January 2011. First teaching at the Pier School, and I am now at the elementary school. I look forward to sharing my passion for art to the youngest of students within the district. I am excited to incorporate two different websites (that also have apps!) into the NES art program that encourage interactivity for students and parents alike!
Please feel free to contact me with any questions, concerns, and/or comments!
Artsonia is an online student art museum where young artists display their art for a world-wide audience. Student artwork will be posted on our school’s Artsonia page on a regular basis. Friends and family can join student fan clubs, comment on artwork, and even buy items such as holiday cards, coffee mugs, and iPhone cases. The NES art program receives 20% of each purchase! To participate, please have your student artist return the permission slip! The NES Artsonia gallery can be found at: http://www.artsonia.com/schools/school.asp?id=68787
Class Dojo is an exciting resource that records attendance and student behavior while encouraging student success with positive reinforcement. Students have their own avatar which can be customized at home if the student creates a Dojo account. Parents are also encouraged to monitor the progress of their children by creating their own account. Instructions will be sent home for students and parents to setup their own accounts. Please watch the student introduction video at the bottom of this page to learn more: http://www.classdojo.com/share
