John Mclaughlin


John Mclaughlin (a.k.a Mahavishnu John Mclaughlin) is a jazz-fusion guitarist that formerly played in the Mahavishnu Orchestra. He is regarded as one of the most influential and technically gifted guitarists of all time. He incorporates a wide range of music into his songs, including jazz, fusion, Indian classical music, and Flamenco. He often plays with Al Di Meola and Paco de Lucia, their famous pieces including Mediterranean Sundance. His band, Mahavishnu Orchestra, is noted for their combined style of Indian classical music, fusion, and jazz.
