Tom Petty


Supported by his band the Heartbreakers for most of his career, Tom Petty is honored as a great guitarist and vocalist. He received 17 Grammy Award nominations since 1981, and earned a Grammy Award in 1989 for Best Rock Performance By a Duo or Group with Vocal, for working with the Travelling Wilburys. He received two more Grammy Awards in 1994, one for Best Male Rock Vocal Performance and one for Best Engineered Album. In 2002, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
