Eddie Van Halen


Eddie Van Halen is famous for being the lead guitarist and co-founder of the hard rock band, Van Halen. Also a keyboardist, composer, and producer, Eddie is noted as a phenomenon by many fans. He formed Van Halen with his brother Alex as drummer, and recently included Wolfgang, who is his son, as bassist. Other than contributing to his band, he played the guitar solo of Michael Jackson's "Beat It". Van Halen was on a hiatus since the 2004 concert tour, but then came back with the new lineup in late 2007. The band, including the present and former memebers, were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on March 12, 2007.
