The White Stripes Fourth album, Elephant, was by far one of the most popular. THe band recorded it with pre 1960's recording gear, including an 8 track tape. It rocketed to #1 in the UK, and #6 in the US the week it was released. "Seven Nation Army" was to become the voice and #1 representative song of the band. The album also reached to the top of numerous top album lists. This record is truely a work of art.
