Appearance: Loggerhead's top shells are a reddish-brown color and their bottom shells are a medium-yellow. The flippers are dark brown with white margins.

Diet: Bottom dwelling inveryebrates are the Loggerheads main food source.

They live in shallow coastal waters. Loggerheads are commonly found in the Gulf coast, Bahamas and Antilles.

Interesting facts:
Their name comes from their large heads.
