Appearance: The top shell is mostly green with a yellow stripe down the middle and yellow around the shell plates. The bottom shell is yellow. The edge of the shell is marked with red. The head has yellow stripes and the legs have red stripes.

Diet:
Insects, snails and lily pads

Environment:
They are usually found in plant-filled ponds, lakes, and streams.

Interesting facts:
Females will migrate to sand or gravel beaches, roadbanks, or cultivated fields to dig a nest and lay eggs.
