Associated with the jangle pop sound and mid 60's music, the Beatles are the most commercialy successful band of all time. George Harrison played the rythem guitar for the beatles and is largely successful for music as it is today and the Beatles success. No one can argue that the beatles greatly shaped music and indirectly affect most bands today, they were put at this level by George and his guitar playing.
