No guitarist is more well known then Jimi Hendrix. He is known for his flair, amazing playing, and his short life leading to an untimely death in 1970. Jimi and his band The Jimi Hendrix Expirence exploded over night at the Monterey pop festivel in 1967. It all was fueled by Jimi igniteing his guitar and "sacrificing it to the guitar gods". Jimi continued with his style and flair through the years becomeing the most famous guitarist of his time. He worked with clapton, and useing the same style of blues rock, fueled the explosion of rock and roll. Today people still listen to and are inspired by Jimi, one of the few , and true great guitarst of all time.
