Muddy Waters may not have done much in his time for music and guitar, but he is responsible for music the way it is today. Muddy was the inspiration and drive behind Jimi Hendrix, Eric clapton, Jimmy Page, Stevie Ray Vaughn, and many other amazing guitarist. Muddy had a stage presence and a soul that drove his music to a point that no one can recreate. The music he played, is the sound that people hear in thier head when they think of Chicago blues, and blues in general. By the end of his life, he could see what he had done, and it became obious to everyone that he shaped music in an irreverseable way.
