Neil Young first rocked out with Buffalo Springs. From then on Neil has had a successful carrer working with many bands such as Pearl Jam, Crazy Horse and other bands.Neil has had almost a duel carrer, performing both rock and roll, and a more relaxed blend of folk and bluegrass. Alot of Neil's work was the first of its kind. He almost single handedly created the genere of grunge while working with Pearl Jam (whom he was an inspiration) and Crazy Horse. Indirectly, he helped build on the genre of alternative rock, from his founding of grunge.
