Reflection

The assignment was to create a website of our own. I learned how to use Dreamweaver. I, also, learned different ways to Dreamweaver and its applications. The process helped me learn. I soon figured how to use the applications of Dreamweaver. The most challenging was to put the flash into the web page. It was hard because I had never put a flash into a web page, so I had to figure it out. The least challenging aspect of the task was for me to set up the web pages. This was least challenging because in class I have set up a lot of web pages, so it was like second nature. This task has helped me to meet many learning expectations. The first is, NHS Expectation 1.1 because I had to communicate effectively using written and technological formats because I had to create a web page on the computer. Next, I met NHS Expectation 1.4, demonstrate problem solving skills, because I had to solve any problems that occurred with my web page. I met NHS Expectation 2.1, demonstrate the skills for independence and collaboration, because I had to work on my web page by myself, but if I had questions I asked to get help. After that I met Technology standard 1.2 because I showed that I was proficient in the use of technology. I met Technology standard 2.2 because I practiced responsible use of technology systems, information, and software. Lastly, I met Technology standard 5.1 because I used technology to locate, evaluate and collect information from a variety of sources. The completion of this task helped me to develop as a student because I navigate through the computer even faster. As an individual it helped me because I can now create a website for anything that I want.
