Poetry is like the language of love. The ease to the soul.

Poetry is meaningful/beautiful words put together which can be rhyming or not. Poetry should come from the soul, not from the hand. Some people write whats called "hate poems" meaning they abuse the heart of poetry and write something mean and hurtful as a poem to another person or to make themselves feel better.Poetry can really be written about anything that inspires you. Some write about what is a simple rainy day and the raindrops hitting the tip of a leaf.Poetry has much meaning and purpose to someone that thinks on a deeper level than most, yet poetry does not follow formal linguistic elements such as grammer rules.

Shakespeare

William Shakespeare was an English poet and playwright and was known to be the greatest writer in the English Language and the worlds preminent dramatist. He wrote 38 plays, 154 sonnets, 2 long narrative poems and several other poems. He was born in 1564 and died in 1616. In my opinion, Shakespeare is a role model to me. At age 18 he married Ann Hathaway and birthed 3 children. Shakespeare had a way of saying this so that the reader will need to really think about what he is trying to imply.
