For Web Graphics and Design class, we had to make and design a website for a topic of our choice. I chose the topic of surviving zombies. We learned how to do the website through all that Mr. Herz had taught us in the rest of the semester. One of the things I learned is how to make a multilayered flash image. The hardest part of this task was going through all the links to be sure that they worked correctly. The easiest part was picking a topic, which I had done back in the first quarter when he first told us what we would be doing. I met several standards over the course of this task, namely 1.1, 1.4 and 2.2. I met 1.1 by using technological and written formats to communicate my websites idea, and to teach people how to survive zombie attacks, by making a website using tech. I met 1.4 by using my problem solving skills to solve the problem of the links randomly deleting or putting a slash in front. I met 2.2 by adding my information to the World Wide Web, allowing anyone to see my website and learn how to survive a zombie attack. Over the course of this task, I learned how to design a webpage, and I learned how to manage my time better. I will use these skills forever, because there is never enough time and you need to be able to manage it.
