HUMAN ENERGY

 

 

 

Human energy, by definition, is the exertion of human force in order to produce a reaction. In this case, the reaction is motion. We as humans are blessed with the ability to travel great distances with no real help. That is, Cars, trucks, and other forms of mechanical transportation are, on some level, unnecessary for transportation. However, society is caught in a race against time, making leisurely strolls to and from a commuters everyday destinations seem excessively cumbersome and excessive. Why walk, when a car is right there to drive you, it's faster and easier, right? Wrong, in the long run, over utilization of automobiles, especially for short commutes, is detrimental to the commuters health, to society, and to our ever changing environment. Thus, provided in the next few pages are some fuel efficient, human powered, and environmentally beneficial alternatives to driving:
