1.1 Pilot

Optimistic spanish teacher Will Schuester try's to have the McKinley High Glee Club regain its former fame, challenging the group of students to realize their star potential. He frequently butts heads with McKinley's caste system and faces harsh criticism from those around him, but is determined to prove them wrong.

1.2 Showmance

The glee club performs in front of the school for the first time, putting an extra "risque" edge on their performance. Quinn notices Rachel's feeling for Finn, and goes to great length to keeping her man. Will's wife also reveals some "un-expected" news, forcing him to find other ways to have ends meet.

1.3 Acafellas

Will forms the musical group the "Acafellas", an all-male acapella group, and spends more time building his ego and confidence than spending time with the glee club. In his absence, the glee club hires a well-known choreographer to coach them for Nationals. Meanwhile, Mercedes is bitten by the love-bug, but the feelings are not returned. When they perform for the PTA, the Acafellas get a surprise visit from Josh Groban.

1.4 Preggers

Kurt try's out for the football team to impress his father. Sandy and Sue collaborate with their plans to destroy glee club. Meanwhile, Quinn and Finn's relationship is tested when they receive some life-changing news.

1.5 The Rhodes Not Taken

Will thinks the glee club needs more of an edge so he brings in his old classmate, April Rhodes, the star of the glee club back when they were in school, to spice things up. Will's plan seems to be going smoothly until he realizes he may lose a key member of the club.

1.6 Vitamin D

Will challenges the kids with some competition with a boys against girls mash up showdown. Terri takes a job as the school nurse, despite having any medical experience, to keep an eye on Will.

1.7 Throwdown

To cause dissension among the glee club, Sue splits the students up and forces them to compete against each other, but the real showdown happens when she and Will are called into the principle's office. The glee kids rally to support Quinn after some shocking news is revealed.

1.8 Mash-Up

Inspired by the students, Will creates a mash-up for a special occasion. In a shocking reversal of roles, McKinley's cool kids are dethroned in an :icy" way, and Sue shows her softer side.

1.9 Wheels

When Artie's chances of traveling with the glee club to Regional are in question, Will challenges the students to step out of their comfort zone and see life from another point-of-view. The glee club hosts its first "diva-off" between Rachel and Kurt for a solo, and Sue, once again, shows a softer side.

1.10 Ballad

Will splits the glee club into pairs to sing their favorite ballads. But when a student is sick, he must fill in for them and puts himself in a sticky situation. Meanwhile, Finn and Quinn have to face the music when sinner with her parents goes awry.

1.11 Hairography

Will is suspicious that Sue is up to no good, so he visits another director of a competing glee club to find information on what Sue is leaking, which leads the club to get a look at their heair-rasing competition. Kurt gives a makeover to Rachel, but has ulterior motives in doing so.

1.12 Mattress

When the glee club is lefty out of the yearbook due to budget cuts, everyone seems relieved that they won't be facing the ridicule of years past. Everyone except Rachel, who wants her legacy to be remembered in print. Quinn makes her mission to be in the Cheerios picture, and Will and Terri's relationship is shaken to its core.

1.13 Sectionals

Sectionals is finally here, but when Quinn's secret finally unravels, the club may not be able to recover in time to compete. Sue scheming is at an all-time high, and with Emma and Ken's wedding looming, Will makes a life-changing desicion

1.14 Hell-o

Fresh off their win at Sectionals, New Directions is on top of the world. With an extra spring in their step, they get to work on the set-list for regionals. But when Rachel and Finn's relationship hits a bump in the road when her involvement with a competitor, Jesse St .James, it threatens the fate of the entire club. Will pays a visit to Shelby Cochran, coach of Vocal Adrenaline, to confirm Jesse's motives. With Will newly single, will he be able to take his relationship with Emma to the next level? And Sue returns form her condo in Boca with a new force for destroying Will and the glee club.

1.15 The Power of Madonna

Fearing that the girls in the club are being mistreated and bullied by the boys, Will challenges the group the be inspired by Madonna's message of equality and her strength and hopefully end the boy's misogynistic ways. The group performs some of Madonna's greatest hits, while Kurt and Mercedes give Sue a new look that is defiantly in "Vogue".

1.16 Home

Kurts plan to set up his dad, Burt, with an unexpected partner for a nuclear family may backfire. Sue demands that the Cheerios go on a crazy diet in order to prepare for an interview in "Splits" magazine and April RHodes returns agian to save Will and the glee club.

1.17 Bad Reputation

1.20 Theatricality
