Tri-colored Collies

Tri-colored collies have most of the same physical features as every other kind of collie. However, tri-colors are more likely to be found mostly black in color with some white patches. Tan fur may be seen around the legs and head.

Tri-colored collies must be presented with mental and physical challenges. This can include a toy they have to open to get a treat or a run around the neighborhood every day. Tri-colors and other collies are also very trainable dogs that are sometimes used as narcotics and bomb sniffing dogs. Once trained, tri-color collies can be very friendly pets, but first they must be socialized so they are not scared of people.
