Cuisine:

The country of Canada offers a unique form of cusine to the world, brought from their great outdoors and vast forest lands. Many dishes involve use of their staple export: maple syrup. Most dishes are heartwarming and welcoming, delicacies to retreat from the outdoor weather.

Beaver Tails

Hot, fried doughboys, coated in cinnamon and sugar, hand-stretched to look like a beaver tail!

Poutine

A Canadian fast-food dish, Poutine is french fries topped with fresh cheese curds and covered with a brown gravy. Additional complements are sometimes added, including lobster, beef, pork, or lamb, but it is always served hot and tastes great at the end of a long day out in the cold!

Caribou

Caribou, not the animal, is an alcoholic drink that is similar to mulled wine. Served either hot or cold, this drink is unique to Quebec. Hot Caribou is definitely the way to go!Photo: ice wine Quebec Carnaval
