Trumpet is a musical instrument in which 3 valves are combined to make a musical blend of notes. You can't just jump into playing trumpet!. You have to first learn the techniques involving breathing, tonguing, sight reading, and especially the different notes and fingerings that go along with the notes. Even one of the greatest trumpet players, Louis Armstrong, had to at one point start from the basics.

The trumpet is said to have a long and glorious history. It is believed that the trumpet was once used as a signaling device in Ancient Egypt, Greece and the Near East. During the Romantic period, where music had free forms and did whatever it wanted, the trumpet was popular in various forms of art such as literature and music. But during the early centuries the trumpet was merely used for signaling and for military purposes. Later decades started to produce the trumpet as a majestic instrument played by all famous composers. However, in today's modern age, the trumpet is merely recognized as a musical instrument in bands and orchestras.
