Epilepsy Awareness

Home Page

If you or a loved one is experiencing epileptic symptoms or seizure activity, seek medical attention right away. If you or a loved one already knows of having epilepsy, there are many places you can go for medications to help lessen/weaken the effects of having an aura, episode, or seizure.

If you think you may have developed epilepsy, or are experiencing seizures, you can see a neurologist for medical attention, a diagnosis, and much more.

One simple way for both is to always be there for your loved one throughout it; nothing is better than knowing you have someone thats there for you, and someone to turn to for advice.

Sometimes people have surgeries for their epilepsy, and one simple way to help with that is to provide them with reassurance and make them meals because they'll be weaker for a short time after the surgery.
