All about Soda

Constipation is a condition in which there is difficulty in using the bathroom. At Athens University, researchers collected 46 patients who were undergoing constipation. They were given Coca-Cola to see if it help the problem be cured, "the treatment cleared the blockage in half, 19 patients needed additional non-invasive treatment, and four needed full surgery."(Everyday Health). The doctors saw that the acidity levels cleared up their bowels.

Upset Stomach

In 2002, “European Journal of Gastroenterology and Hepatology” ran a study to see what helps indegestion and/or nausea. Half of the people drank tap water and the other half drank carbonated water. The half that seemed to cure their upset stomachs were the people who consumed the carbonated water. If the bubbles from water could help, so could sodas carbonation.
