Where can you learn positive coping skills?

You can search for coping skills online, ask a therapist, in books, informative packets, or friends.

I learned mine when I was in the hospital suffering from severe anxiety and depression. The staff at the hospital were so helpful and inspirational and taught me to breath deep, learn that it is okay to talk to someone about how you are feeling, and to trust people who care about you. They enforced coping skills during groups and really helped me get through a tough time.

I am not reccomending a hospital stay to learn the skills but definitiely seek out to learn them when you are in distress.
