Coping Skills

Coping skills are used by a person when they are faced with a stressful situation. It is hard to make good habbits when you already use bad habbits to cope with a stressful situation. Many mental problems stem from excessive anxiety that causes chemical changes in the brain. Therefore, it is important to acquire and heed on healthy coping skills that will reduce the likelihood of the stressful situation to become even more stressful. Practice is the only way one can be good at using positive and healthy coping skills!
