The Ancient Romans had a very healthy drinking habit that included a lot of wine. There were many different varieties of wine. First there is Calda, warm water and wine laced with spices, this was typically a winter drink. Then there is Mulsum which is honeyed wine. Also there is Posca which is vinegar mixed with enough water to make it drinkable. Then there are the regular wines, normally the wines were watered down. The best wine producing region was between Latium and Campania. The wines included black, red, white, and yellow wines.
