Nintendo DS


The Nintendo DS is a handheld game console. The DS flips open and has two display screens. The bottom screen is a touch screen. The system has a built in microphone and a Wi-Fi system. Gamers can interact over short distances or through the Wi-Fi connection. The letters DS stand for Developers' System, but they can also stand for Dual Screen. In 2006 the Nintendo DS Lite was released which is a sleeker and brighter model (Nintendo).
