Graffiti

Graffiti is when willful vandalism is done to public and private property. Graffiti to some is considered vandalism, and to others an art-form. Graffiti is when spray paint and broad permanent markers are used on walls, freeways, buildings, trains, or any surfaces that are not owned by the person who applies the graffiti. The people applying the graffiti use spray paint and permanent markers to apply the graffiti. Spray paint and permanent markers are used because it is important to apply the art quickly before getting caught by authority figures. Most graffiti artists are assumed to be teenage males. The political graffiti artists are usually woman.
