Goblins are one of the few groups in Azeroth that have remained unaligned. They have tremendous value to both teams, working as merchants or, in the case of the Horde, the single driving force behind the engineering program, despite how dangerous the slightest "innovation" they've made. They have been rivals of the Gnomes engineering program, which is safer (not by much). For example, The Gnomes made the Deeprun Tram, which resembles the modern day subway, while the Goblins invented the Zeppelins. During the War between the Orcs and Humans, the goblins worked only for the Horde, but eventually loaned their services to both sides.
The Naaru are powerful embodiments of pure good. They gave the power of the Light back to the Paladins after they had been abandoned. The Naaru have used their power to hold residence in Shattrath city and turn it into a Sanctuary. Though they are said to be all powerful beings they seem to perform very little action to destroy their enemies. They help both the Alliance and the Horde, and it seems more like the two factions have aligned to them not the other way around.
