For my website I chose to do it on LeBron James, since he is my favorite NBA player. We all had to create some kind of website on a certain subject with a flash animation and other requirements. We applied our knowledge of making simplier websites from quater 3 to create our major website. We got the whole quater to complete our website and learned flash in the middle of the quater. In the beginning we had to submit a sheet showing our website plan and what the information on our website is going to target. Before the creation of my website we learned through the web design book all about the basics. We had random quizes to make sure we knew the information and how to make a website from a wordpad setting, but using Dreamweaver was a lot easier. During the task the most challenging aspect was making the flash and importing it on the website. I think this was the hardest part to me because we spent the least amount of time on it and it's very titious. The least challenging aspect of this task was retreiveing the information on LeBron from online since he is such a popular star. By the completion of this task I had met proficiency in six learning expectations. First was 5.1-Technology Standard Technology research tools Students use technology to locate, evaluate and collect information from a variety of sources.1.4-Academic Learning Expectations Students shall Demonstrate the use of reasoning and problem solving skills and strategies through analysis and synthesis of data and information. From this task I have become a better web designer and actually understand computers now.
