Tennis is a game played between two players (singles), or between two teams of two playesr which is considered doubles. Each player uses a racquet, an oval frame with cords strung throughout and a handle used to hit a tennis ball back and fourth. It's played on a tennis court that can either be clay, grass, or hard court. It is rectangular and has in and out boundaries. There's a doubles alley and if your'e playing singles, and hit it into that area, it's considered to be out, but if your'e playing doubles it's in. the rules are very much alike for playing singles and doubles except for the boundaries of in and out. The object of the game is to hit back and fourth to your oppnent until he or she gets it out or doesn't make the shot. If that happens, it's your point.
