A Few Simple Spells

An' it harm none, do what ye will

The first rule of witchcraft is "An' it harm none, do what ye will". This means that you may do whatever you like as long as you're not harming someone else.

All of the spells I have listed are white magick spells, and should not be used to control, manipulate, or harm others.

You don't need to follow each spell and ritual word-for-word. Witchcraft is a religion of free-thinkers, and it's encouraged to devise spells and rituals of your own. Just be careful about how far you extend this, because there is a point in which you stop following white magick and start following black magick.

The first step to any spell is to consecrate/purify the tools being used. You consecrate with salt, water, and incense. Those three things symbolize the five elements - Earth, Air, Fire, Water, and Spirit. When you consecrate anything, you need to do so with a positive mind, or else the spell could backfire or not work at all.

Sometimes spells don't require the use of tools, just your mind. To consecrate your mind, you need 1 white candle (for positive energy), 1 black candle (for negative energy), and 1 green candle (for healing).

Light the white candle and say:
"Mother Earth, Fire, Wind, Water, and Spirit, I ask thee to cleanse my body of all negative energies."

Repeat that step with the black candle.

Then, light the green candle with say:
"Mother Earth, Fire, Wind, Water, and Spirit, I ask thee to free and heal my body from all negative forces. Blessed be!"

Afterwards, sit back for about fifteen minutes. After that you should feel renewed and fresh.
