Brushes
Also known as the Wand or the Broom The brushes are a very important part of the sport of curling. They are what allows the players to guide the stone and get closer or farther away from the Goal Ring. Without the two brushers on the ice at a time, Curling would be an almost impossible sport. Now what do the Brushes do you might ask, well its a very simple process. The brush is swept 6 inches in front of the Stone in order to allow less friction to get in the stones way so its smooth sailing towards the goal ring. But wait theres more, the brushes are also for having a stable control for how fast the stone goes. Now that you know, you will have smooth sailing with your curling experience.
