History of Curling
Curling has come a long way since the 16th Century when the Germans and the Scotts had slid old stones called loafies on the frozen lochs and marshes of Scotland. Later, Curling had come to the United States in the late 1830's when scottish soliders had brought the game over from Michigan. Fronm there, it had spread farther north to Minnasota, North Dakota and several other states. Today there are over 15,000 curlers and 135 Clubs, most are in the northern parts of the united states and still growing very slowly to this day
