Way The Longboard is Made

Most longboards are made from sturdy wood such as maple or birch. A longboard has about 10 piles of wood in it; all of these pieces of wood are compressed together which then makes the deck. While these pieces are being put together a concave is being made, this helps your feet lock on the board. Then a rocker or chamber is made and this is where the board either sags or pops out.
