Sam Hunt's music passion did not start until he was in college, and even in college, he was focused more on sports such as his football stats.
Sam sang some of his songs at Nashville before he was offered a publishing deal, allowing him to write full-time. He now is with MCA Nashville.
Sam Hunt started his musical carer writing songs for other hit country stars like Kenny Chesney and Keith Urban. Some of his songs are:
"Cop Car" for Keith Urban
"Come Over" for Kenny Chesney
"We Are Tonight" for Billy Currington
Sam Then released his first music in an EP album. An EP (Extended Play) album is a musical recording that contains more music than a single, but is usually too short to qualify as a full studio album or LP. His EP album is titled "X2C." This album is premiering his debut album Montevallo. Songs that he debuted in his debut album include:
Leave the Night On (debut single sold over 1 million copies up to date)
Take Your Time
Ex to See
Breakup in a Small Town
Single for the Summer
Raised on It
Make You Miss Me
When he released his album Montevallo, it was a huge success. The album was named after a small Alabama town he’s frequented in recent years.
