How I Met Your Mother

"How I Met Your Mother," created by Carter Bays and Craig Thomas, is the hilarious comedy on CBS centered around the main character, Ted Mosby (played by Josh Radnor), on his quest to find his wife. The show follows the story of Ted's life from college to his mid thirties and his current life in Manhattan, New York, as he tells his children the story of how he met their mother. The ten time Emmy Award winning show is made up of the phenomenal cast of Josh Radnor (Ted Mosby), Cobie Smulders (Robin Scherbatsky), Jason Segel (Marshall Eriksen), Alyson Hannigan (Lily Aldrin), and Niel Patrick Harris (Barney Stinson). Together, the five actors bring these incredibly funny, free-spirited, and relateable characters to life through a sitcom filled with heartfelt moments and an infinite amount of laughter.

The success of the show can be attributed to the cast as well as the mystery within the plot line. Throughout the show the audience is left with the burning question of "who is the mother of the children?" Everything happens for a reason in the world of "How I Met Your Mother" and the stories that Ted tells his children, the actual action of the show, are infact Ted's memories, which lead him to the first meeting with his wife. The show truly depicts the life of five fun loving adults in their thirties trying to live their lives to the fullest under confines of reality, while leaving viewers with the question, "how did Ted meet the 'mother'?"
