Reflection

This semester in Web Graphics and Design we did our Common Task on the design of a complete website. Part of the website had to be an Adobe Flash animation that would match the topic. The topic was free chosen and I chose the Boston Bruins. The Website had to have at least eight different pages. Everything has to be linked to each other. Required were at least a works cited page and a reflection page. The rest of the sites were up to the author of the website.
During class I learned on how to set up a webpage properly and how to make it work. We learned how to use the program and how to create a flash animation. All of this knowledge was gained during class and needed to succeed in this common task.
To create this website I had to be able to use the program Adobe Dreamweaver. All specific information that is needed to use this program had to be prior knowledge. There were problems like a missing link from one page to another but once I found the problem I was able to solve it.
Most of the problems I was able to handle on my own but some problems I needed help.
This task helped me in the way that I’m now able to create my own website and create an animation.
The Common Task helped me understand the subject and all the work that comes with the creating of a website. I will be able to use all the knowledge that I gained by maybe job possibilities in the future.
