South County Museum

The South County Museum has been celebrating Rhode Island’s coastal legacy for 80-plus years. The museum aims to allow exploration into the rich historical heritage of rural and coastal life. Located on a seven-acre campus is set in a 174-acre town park the museum has much to offer. Including

South County Museum's mission to to preserve the history and heritage of rural and coastal life in southern Rhode Island for the  education and inspiration of people of all ages and for all times. The mesueam is open to the general public from the first weekend in May through September.
