Cookie Selling

Cookie selling is arguably the easiest way to know if someone is a Girl Scout. From January-March Girl Scouts ages second grade and up go door to door and stand outside of grocery stores trying to get you to buy cookies. It is very difficult for many to resist the scrumptious treat. In most states the cookies are $4 a box. Although that might seem like a hefty price tage for a box of cookies, the money goes to many good causes. The troop gets to keep some of the profits and credits earned from selling cookies can lower the scouts cost to go to summer camp..

Although the cookie availability differs depending on your hometown, some of the cookies potentially available includes Thin Mints, Caramel deLites/Samoas, Peanut Butter Patties/Tagalongs, Shortbread/Trefoils, Peanut Butter Sandwich/Do-si-dos, Cranberry Citrus Crisps, Lemonades and Thanks-A-Lot.
