Creating a Website: Reflection

I recently completed a common task at the Narragansett High School in the Web Design course that made me compose a website on the topic of our choice. I chose to do my website on famous professional basketball legend Kobe Bryant. The purpose of this assignment was to target young and older sports fans and give them my research and insight on my topics life and accomplishments. I used my knowledge of creating a website from the many assignments we completed in the past. I acquired many different skills during this task including knowing how to link pages and pictures. It is very important to know how to do this because if I did not, my website would not be proficient. The process I used to complete this task was first, I made an animation about my topic. Then, I researched information about him to conduct into my webpages. Next, I finished the website by linking everything together. The most challenging aspect of this project for me was making the animation because I had trouble having Kobe dribble the ball over and shoot it in the basket. I got over this obstacle with help from my teacher and my classmates sitting next to me. This task helped me understand Web Design more because I conducted a website having the major components of the class all put into it. The completion of this task has helped me as a student because now I know how to use a computer for making websites, animations, etc. If I ever get a job in the future that requires me to make websites, I will use my skills that I learned in this class to guide me.
