Outer space, as some like to call it, is a mystery to everyone. The Cosmos is an enormous, mostly empty vacuum full of wonder and beauty alike. Massive objects captivate us, and fill us with a sense of awe. Most of the measurements in cosmology and astronomy is Astronomical Units, the distance between Earth and the Sun, or about 93 million miles. And light-years, or about nine trillion (9,000,000,000,000) miles.
