The only planet known to contain life, this is our home planet. With a diameter of more than 12,000 kilometers, our nearly six septillion kilogram planet may seem like a giant compared to our miniature size. With 77% of the surface covered in oceans of liquid water, this is the only planet we can live on, for the time being. The atmosphere is made up of 77% nitrogen, 21% oxygen, and 1% other elements such as carbon, and argon. However, our planet, as cosmologist Carl Sagan, one put it, "is a very small stage, in a vast cosmic arena." It's gargantuan size shrinks when compared to the vastness of the universe. It becomes an obscure speck of dust when pitted against the rest of exsistence.
