The Baseball Hall of fame is located in Cooperstown New York and is home to baseball's greatest players. The Hall of fame was established in 1936 and every year is open to new members. A player must wait 5 years after retirement and play for at least 10 years in the league the MLB. Baseball writers then nominate who they think should be on the ballot and a final ballot is created. If a player is then selected by 75% of the writers on the final ballot when voting, the player is in the hall of fame. A new member is inducted just about every year and the true greatest players have selected sections at the hsll fro them. This years 2014 members were Greg Maddux, Tom Glavine, and Frank Thomas. There are officially 306 members in the hall of fame but that number will increase vastly over the next ten years.
