5. Open
Meetings
The
Rhode Island Open Meetings Act specifies the guidelines for School Committee
meetings to ensure that citizens may observe public officials and be informed
of the decisions and deliberations that affect public policy. Every regular meeting,
special meeting and work session of the Narragansett School Committee is open
to the public, unless closed according for limited purposes according to RIGL
42-46-4 and 42-46-5.
