The Superintendent will have an annual report completed during the second or third week of July and hold a special meeting or part of a regular meeting with the School Committee regarding this report.† Sufficient copies will be made available to all parties concerned and the public.† This report will be a brief document as an overview of the entire school system -- past, present, and future.
It shall contain such items as curriculum projects and revision, innovative programs, federal programs, evaluation of new programs, capital improvements and construction programs, long-range projects and goals, review of past events, educational statistics, recommendations for the future, special education developments, the guidance program, budget income from all sources, budget expenditures for the previous fiscal year of major budget items, future budget needs, and conclusions.
